Milksta is an international online drinks business. They provide natural, decaf and vegan lactogenic drinks for nursing mothers.

Milksta tasked us to build them a new custom eCommerce website to help them increase sales, lifetime value and customer engagement.

Why us?

Milksta has ambitious growth targets. After appearing and successfully securing investment on Dragon’s Den they were referred to us by the Recharge Partner Programme to provide web development for their new eCommerce store and create subscription functionality for their valued customers.

We were given four clear objectives:

  • Drive more sales
  • Increase customer engagement
  • Increase customer lifetime value (LTV)
  • Meet tight turnaround deadlines

Our approach

Our initial approach was to understand Milksta’s current market position, understand the goals of their business and the goals of their customers.

We reviewed Milksta’s existing technology stack and investigated how their website functioned in Shopify and with their other third-party integrations.

Working closely with their international internal and external teams, we used designs provided by their team to create an optimised custom website in Shopify and integrated it with Recharge to allow for customer subscription functionality. We also built branded customisable landing pages to support their targeted marketing campaigns and drive sales.

  • Customers account and subscription functionality so customers could view their orders, and change their subscription package
  • A fully optimised eCommerce website with exceptional customer experience
